Hi, I’m Mishika Uthpala, and I’m the founder of Baerulo.

I started this company during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many, I was facing uncertainty, but I also saw an opportunity to create something truly special and impactful. I did it all on my own, driven by a passion to fill a gap in the Sri Lankan beauty market.

From the beginning, I wanted to build a brand that was different—one that celebrated natural beauty and focused on genuine wellness. This led to the creation of Sri Lanka’s first body shimmer oils, slimming oils, enhancement oils, Yoni oils, and foaming body scrubs. Every product we make is crafted with natural, skin-friendly ingredients, completely free of harsh chemicals and preservatives.

Our mission is to support and empower brown women who struggle with common skin concerns like hyperpigmentation and eczema. We believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and beautiful in her own skin. Baerulo isn’t just a beauty brand; it’s a movement to build confidence and help women embrace their natural glow.
